Books by Andrea Sarginson
‘The Window Makers’ is a trilogy about a family of medieval coloured glass window makers living in East Yorkshire, from 1349 to 1542. It is fiction based on fact.
Book one, Man of Glass, sees Amalric Faceby facing the onslaught of a Great Pestilence. In book two, Life of Glass, Amalric, while on a traumatic journey, recalls his past life, loves and ambitions. Book three, Woman of Glass, moves to the 1500s, where a descendant, Rosa Faceby, has her love and work compromised by Henry VIII.
Book one is available from Amazon and Kindle, book two is available from Andrea Sarginson and book three is available from October 17th.
‘The author has brought [the sixteenth century] vividly to life through meticulous research and delivers with a lightness of touch such that Rosa’s struggles, along with those of the inhabitants of Warren Horseby and Meaux Abbey, become our own.’
